Catering for a maximum of only 3 couples, Hillcrest Retreat offers
panoramic views from Mt Warning to the rainforests and Mountains of Springbrook and the Cougal ranges.
Guests can choose to stay in one of our 2 luxury bed and breakfast suites in
the private guest wing of the main house, or our beautiful
self-contained honeymoon
spa cottage in it's own private rainforest garden.

B&B guests can expect all the service of a small private hotel that
caters for only 2 couples, whilst having their privacy respected at
all times.
Cottage guests are left completely alone to enjoy
the peace and ambience of their own private rain-forest world ~
although one of your hosts is usually not too far away if you need
them.
Our separate Bed and Breakfast wing has a private guest lounge
(opening to a charming central atrium with tropical plants and
fishpond), with open fire-place and comfortable recliner chairs.
Whilst Cottage guests can snuggle up by their real wood fire (firewood
provided during cold weather) or flick on the a/c for instant heat if
they prefer.
Enjoy a BBQ in the fairy-lit Gazebo or prepare your own feast in your cottage
fully equipped kitchen. Listen to the night birds call whilst you gaze in
awe at the millions of stars in the clear night sky. In summer take a
mid-night Swim in the warm green-lit waters of the solar heated salt-water pool before sinking
into the bubbles of your luxury double spa bath. In winter curl up in
front of the fire with a bottle of red or watch a dvd on your wide screen
tv before stretching out in your comfortable bed for
the best nights sleep you've had in years.
Awake in the Clouds to the gentle sounds of our horse and
miniature ponies nickering for their breakfast and the myriad of birds
calling in the new misty Mt Warning dawn.
Smell the aroma of fresh brewed coffee and crusty
home-baked bread being prepared for your country style breakfast before
another beautiful day in the Tweed Valley.

Catering for a maximum of three couples, Hillcrest offers guests the ultimate in
peace and relaxation at an affordable price.
Choose from two air-conditioned bed and breakfast suites
(spa suite pictured above) in a
private guest wing of the main residence, or complete privacy in our fully
self contained cottage

set away from the main house in its own secluded garden and located to take advantage of some of the best views in the Tweed
Coast hinterland.
Both the main house and cottage are air-conditioned throughout for the odd
summer days when the ceiling fans are just not enough to keep you comfortable.
The main house guest lounge has an open fireplace and the Cottage has a real wood fire for winter romance.
Main house guest rooms have in-room, TVs and DVD players ~ with a
selection of movies, music, books and games available in the library.
All bathrooms come complete with bath towels, bathrobes, hairdryer,
a selection of toiletries and pool towels.
The main house guest wing has an air-conditioned guest lounge (with
beverage facilities, small library and stereo system) which opens to
a charming central atrium with fishpond, tropical plants and resident green tree frogs during the warmer months.

Meet our Pet Horse & Ponies
Big old Larry (pictured centre) the 29 year old "Boss" in the
horse paddock, loves his two little girls - Bonny the Shetland Pony cross and little Gingernut Biscuit, the miniature pony
who is usually on a diet as she loves her food just a little too much! Ginger
loves human company and will cuddle all day if you want to.
